I’m so excited to be hosting another mixed media and screen printing workshop, this time from my home studio in Methlick!
This fun and creative workshop is perfect for beginners, and no previous experience is needed. We’ll start by creating our own unique backgrounds using a variety of paints and mixed media techniques. Once our backgrounds are ready, I’ll introduce you to screen printing using a selection of pre-exposed screens and images.
Then comes the really creative part! You’ll have the opportunity to work back into your screen-printed designs using Posca pens, metallic leaf and paints, adding layers, colour and detail to create something completely unique.
Finally, you’ll choose your favourite piece of artwork and I’ll show you how to mount it ready for framing.
It’s a fun, relaxed and experimental workshop where you can enjoy getting creative, trying different techniques and seeing where your ideas take you.
